Special Event – Longacres Garden Visit (Members Only) Sunday 27th March 2022

By January 27, 2022February 1st, 2022No Comments

We are delighted to confirm our planned guided tour of Longacres gardens will proceed on Sunday 27th March!

The tour will be led by Craig Wilson of Gentiana Nursery, who also maintains these beautiful gardens.

Longacres at Olinda in the Dandenong Ranges was the country home and in later life, the permanent home, of the Australian landscape artist Sir Arthur Streeton. It was Streeton’s final and most loved house and garden. He designed and planted the garden himself and had a major role in the design of the house.

The property has remained in the family and current owner the Hon. Julie Dodds-Streeton QC has kindly agreed to a garden tour for HSOV members.

This special event is limited to members only and a maximum of 30 people.

Please note participants at this event must be double vaccinated.

Afterwards: Afternoon Tea and Gentiana Nursery visit. (Optional)
